Steve Jobs is sad as any death. But his deification effectively in the pages of the press is quite extraordinary. Cover, pages and pages of coverage in the news briefs, numerous editorials and even an ad in honor of the work of the fashion house Diesel. All this for a businessman and have never met most of us have never heard of. It tells us something quite amazing what has happened to our world.

Jobs and his company were at best stylists. They did not invent the personal computer, mobile phone or MP3 player. What they did was with the style and technology to change the existing style. They were very successful and many people, myself included, use their products. But how the head of a technology company, from design to generate just adulation?

The simple answer is that the style is there. We live in a consumer society where the symbols buy what we want to share with others. We are social beings by nature, desperate to be part of a social group or another. The handful of consumption in our psyche and our cultural world, is the main way we communicate with brands today. Remember the word comes from the brand is placed in cattle to determine ownership. Today, the brand and rename itself and there is no brand more valuable than the Apple logo.
