The State of the Diablo 3 Beta (Two Videos)
nearly four years have passed since the announcement of Diablo 3, and its development began years earlier. His predecessors helped define the genre of action RPG, so anticipation is high among fans of the franchise. The game was tested closed beta since September, and has changed a lot since then. Now that Blizzard has set May 15 as a release date, we thought it would be a good time to take a look at the situation of the game as it exists today. These two videos show gameplay of different classes, explaining the skill and rune system, take a look at the auction house, and examine many of the other changes since the beginning of development. (Click to read the first video, and the second will automagically after the first ends.)
