postheadericon Apple Loses Copyright Case In China Over Infringing Copies Of China Encyclopedia

years that whenever the United States (mainly) pushes China to be stronger in the law of intellectual property, which is against-productive. Chinese officials are well aware that state monopolies are granted trade barriers that can be used to beat the competition - and almost always used intellectual property laws to foreign and domestic companies to protect Chinese companies. So, just a day after China (new) defended his respect for copyright, it is interesting to note that a Chinese court found Apple
guilty copyright infringement on a product called Encyclopedia of China:

The court ruled that the publisher is the sole owner of copyright legitimate history of China volume "Encyclopedia of China," first edition. Its author is protected by Chinese laws. No organization or individual shall distribute the content in question through the information network without the permission of the copyright holder.



The publication in October 2010 revealed that the iTunes software, which can be downloaded from the website run by Apple products Electronic Commerce Ltd (Beijing) Co. allows users to purchase and download a large part of the "Encyclopedia of China" in the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
Apple tried to defend stressing quite reasonable, that is not all products in the iTunes store, but the court ruled that "Apple should take responsibility infringement of copyright App Store. "Oh, and apparently it was only the first of many similar cases that have been filed against Apple. For those of you who think China should be more "respect" copyright:. Be careful what you want
