Edward Snowden Rally

The Saga Continues

Edward Snowden

is now officially a criminal operation of the law, but the U.S. extradition effort just became a little more difficult. Despite having canceled U.S. passport, Snowden was able to legally obtain transport in Moscow, and WikiLeaks claims they are behind the move. Lawyers for the controversial report of the non-profit organization approached them Snowden who asked their help, and they seem more willing to take on the case once you arrive at your destination. Presumably these are the same lawyers who shielded WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the Swedish authorities in recent years, so chances are high that this saga will take a very long time to fully play if it comes in countries such as Ecuador, where extradition can be tricky.

The Chinese government has also openly admitted that the lawyers of the city-state Snowden worked with almost all in Hong Kong, and issued the following statement.

"Edward Snowden left Hong Kong today (June 23) on their own in a third country legal and normal channels.
