postheadericon Woman Charged With 'Obstructing Governmental Administration' For Filming Police From Her Front Yard

We 've had a ton of stories reacts badly recently about the police (and in contrast to what the law says) when they discover that someone is filming some of their actions in public. Police are always trying to argue that this is illegal, and even tried to claim that such video recordings eavesdropping violates laws. The latest example is really bizarre. Boing Boing points us to a story about how a woman was in Rochester, NY and arrested due to "obstruction of governmental administration," all because she was filming a (questionable) traffic stop in front of her house. You can see the video below:
The man repeatedly tried to leave to get the reasons for her to her front yard, initially suggesting that they 't-movie from the sidewalk (it takes a step back) and then complains that it' s "anti-police" and that he does not feel 't sure if she goes. She points out that it 's wrong in their own backyard and nothing. The officer then threatened her with arrest and arrests her and quickly claimed that they obey didn 't one police command.

What 's truly breathtaking, that prosecutors went forward with charges here. They have known there was a video to have. I 'm curious as to how anyone can argue that shooting police prevents administration.
