Tesco launches £2.50 a month broadband deal

Tesco has joined the price war for broadband to reduce the cost of using "unlimited" internet for £ 2.50 per month, slightly less than 9 pence per day - but only available for customer loyalty Clubcard
retailer Clubcard 16 million users will be able to pay £ 16.25 per month including £ 13.75 monthly fee for Internet services and free calls in the evening to week. The supermarket giant said that customers who subscribe to its broadband package will triple Clubcard points (three for every $ 1 spent).
Tesco said its offer, available until May 31, 2012, is the best on the market cheap unlimited broadband, but customers will pay up to £ 40 fees if they opt for a permanent contract 30 days instead of a 12 month contract. The package price is £ 6.50 per month, after a year.
The agreement is a direct challenge to BT, which offered broadband through some comparison sites £ 3.50 per month for six months (then £ 13 per month) in a contract 18 months.
Broadbandchoices.co.uk connection with the site, Virgin Media, Sky and Orange broadband offers available at £ 5 per month, but the Virgin is limited to the first three months (prior to return to £ 18.50 per month) and 12 months with Sky (back to £ 10 per month).
