Well, that offers are stride or two in the Justice Department, which launched an investigation into the matter. A spokesman for the department confirmed that the probe with Bloomberg News, but declined to elaborate. A source close to the investigation, however, said the antitrust division is involved. Apparently, it is feared that the agreement puts too much control over the airwaves in the hands of Verizon. For its part, Verizon declined to comment, saying he has not received any information about the investigation.
