About Me
Comcast quietly updates DVRs with ability to list stored programs from the web, mobile apps
While being able to program DVR recordings from your mobile device is nice, an update has caused some current Comcast DVR is adding the ability for users to see exactly what programs that are stored for an application or a web browser. Previously, the only remote users can obtain information from their digital recorders was the percentage of storage used and what records are scheduled to take place, but users can now view individual records, choose to see one of them now , change your focus to eliminate or even eliminate distance. I hope not lead to griefing involuntary as interfamily users manage disk space often inadequate in their DVR cable, but it can certainly put his mind at rest to know
The League(or whatever your program of choice that is) has been successfully completed.
Updated quiet to be expelled as a software update for the DVR itself, and should appear automatically for users of the Web administrator or application iOS DVR (Android users can access it too, but via the browser). We noticed the change after our Motorola DVR also has an update that makes the channel name appears in the number when you enter the remote. It worked well, although some much older recordings were not registered online each new age, which could explain the silence deployment Comcast has confirmed that we started yesterday. Another change took place at the same time is a new application for the player iOS Xfinity TV that focuses solely on streaming video on demand, which reflects a similar application on Android either. While Xfinity TV platform has treated streaming rights since 2010, dedicated player and even a different menu drive interface, and we were not surprised to see that the property removed from the general application time.
