About Me
Toshiba Satellite R945-P440 review: Sturdy and so-so
The Satellite R945-
P440â s performance??? Looked better in the individual events. For example, our Web performance test WebVizBench, Thea R945-P440 reached an average rate of 14.2 frames per second, a little slower than the M14x (15.1 fps), and refresh rate better than the IdeaPad U410 from (10.9 fps). The Satellite P440-R945
has also performed well in our test content creation, which won both the M14x and the IdeaPad U410 video encoding speed. From Satellite R945-
P440 does not have a discrete graphics card, the test graphics performance was poor compared to what we have seen of the M14x and U410. In our tests graphics of Crysis 2, the satellite reaches speeds of 14.0 frames per second (high quality settings, 1366-by-768-pixel resolution) to 32.8 fps (low quality settings, 800 - by-600-pixel resolution). These results are similar to the frame rate of the HP Envy Sleekbook 6z-1000, which is a versatile entry-level laptop with an AMD processor and discrete graphics card no.R945 goal is housed in a robust black plastic. Weighing about 4.5 pounds (without attachments), the system is portable, but certainly not ultraportable. ATI?? S also quite thick, 1.2 cm deep, and is cumbersome due to its ribbed plastic cover. When it comes to style, Toshiba doesnâ?? T exactly go out all the stops with this machine, which looks a bit dated and square. That said, at least the laptop feels durable, with a solid hinge, a stable and virtually no flex anywhere.
Although the Satellite R945-P440 resembles a larger system, I like the aesthetic. Of course, it's not sleek and sexy like an Ultrabook today, but instead of the frame has a sort of retro-chic home. The inside of the laptop is pleasing to the eye, with chrome (plastic) and a slight bevel on the keyboard. The power button is in the upper left corner, and two buttonsâ???? To access Toshibaâ? S Eco Utility Intel switch? S WiDi featureâ???? Occupying the upper right corner.
The Satellite R945-P440 is asized spill-resistant, which is suitable for business users or people who like a drink while working nearby. Black keyboard keys are a little island style around the same time, but otherwise comfortable for typing. The keys are flat with sharp angles and smooth. The keyboard has no backlight, but the machine does not offer small button on the bottom of the keyboard to disable the touchpad.
