About Me
Kimera Systems wants your smartphone to think for you
When Google unveiled today we are all very excited by the potential of the Virtual Assistant preferred. Kimera Systems wants to build a similar system, but it will look almost like Mountain View tool tip as a Commodore 64. The company founder, Mounir Shita, provides a network connected devices using a software called intelligent agents to follow their friends suggest food in a restaurant, and even find someone to paint your house. This explanation is a bit simplistic, but goes to the heart of what AI general network is theoretically capable of. In this world (as seen in the video after the break) do not check Yelp or text your friend to ask you if you're late. Instead, we must recognize that it had reached a particular restaurant, analyze and propose a dinner menu to suit your tastes. Meanwhile, his friend has just reached the bus stop, but runs a little behind. Your phone knows what it is supposed to send an alert to notify you of the delay. With a bit of free time on their hands, the phone suggests to make new social ties or walk into a convenience store to pick up this book sitting on your wish list. It's scary, ambitious and perhaps a little worrying that we would be leaving our phones direct our lives. Kimera is trying to raise funds to build a plug-in for Android SDK and start testing your vision. You see the promotional video after the break and, if you're so inclined, I pledge some money to the cause at the source.
