GoPro's new Hero3 Black Edition is lighter, faster, higher res and has builtn WiFi

At a launch event in San Francisco GoPro has unveiled the next addition to its range of action cameras, the Hero3. Says Hero3 specifications that are 30 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter than its predecessor, with a resolution that is up to 4 times and WiFi included. The upscale Black Edition (pictured above) is capable of capturing video up to 4K thing - if you're willing to leave the 15 frames per second - but thanks to a processor that says it's 2 times faster, also doubled frame rates at lower resolutions. This means that the modes 1080p60, 1440p48 and 720p120 meet your needs and still captures HD super slow. The Silver Edition maxes out at 11MP stills and video 1080p30, while the white edition drops to 5MP still images. The three versions include WiFi (no need for remote control through the implementation BacPac recently published in iOS), but the Black edition includes a remote control that can control up to 50 cameras simultaneously with a range of 600 feet and is waterproof up to 10 meters deep. Also available as an accessory for $ 79 for minor versions.

Regarding prices, the Black Edition is $ 399, the money is $ 299 and $ 199 white. Orders are begin at 00:01 PT (3:01 p.m. ET), and there is a counter on the site very useful if GoPro might otherwise forget. The variety of models and WiFi everywhere can help fight competition in the low price range as the new ContourROAM2, among others.
