There was a growing tendency among some to think that it would be much more convenient and useful for students learning how to code in the course of their studies, rather than other issues "mandatory" program of studies. It seems that the House of Representatives is working on a plan to encourage little cold at least part of the code learning in schools: a national competition for technology students, encouraging them to develop entirely new applications for mobile devices. The hope is that it will help more students not only learn how to code, but they love to learn and are interested to learn more and enter the field of technology. While this may be a "small" program, it is good to see that the general stimulus for people to learn how to code at a young age.



At the other end of the spectrum, three of the richest technicians Silicon Valley, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin and Yuri Milner joined a much larger program breakthrough science of life "Price" award 11 scholarships of $ 3 million annually for major scientific breakthroughs.



These are two different approaches to encourage greater innovation in technology and science - one in the "down" and end in "high" end - but it will be interesting to see how this type of incentive programs to develop over time. It would be nice to see more "Innovation Award" offering rewards for achieving specific goals, rather than the nature of the accident "had a list of winners" that functions under Breakthrough Award.
