postheadericon Congress Apparently Uninterested In 'Aaron's Law' To Reform CFAA

Well, it is quite regrettable, but perhaps not a surprise. Last week, Politico reported that despite the progress of the "law of Aaron" Zoe Lofgren, designed to improve the CAFA, it is unlikely that any traction in Congress. CFAA, of course, is the law that was written widely abused for decades in a hacking attempt outlawed. Bill has never been particularly well written, and with time, technology has changed, the CFAA has become very open to broad interpretation, so that people have faced criminal charges for having dared to disobey ... the mission of on-site service (which never even read). Aaaron Swartz was charged under the CFAA, therefore, the reform project called "law of Aaron." But despite the attention it has received Aaron, Congress is not interested right now.
