Library of Congress unveils plan to preserve early US sound recordings

historical audio recordings are not exactly easy to access and play as they are often unknown or aging formats and sit in giant deposits and private collections, but the Library of Congress is ready to help change that for both researchers and ordinary users. The team recently announced National Conservation Plan recording is headlined by a recommendation that a national directory of audio recordings available to the public to act as an "authorized discography" with details regarding its production and the copies are found. you have to make a trip to the library to listen to recordings, for the moment, but the Library of Congress is hoping to negotiate licensing agreements for the transmission line. development of new standards conservation and the creation of university programs for archiving audio are also among the 32 recommendations in the short and long terms set forth in the document.
