postheadericon Opportunistic Politicians Lean On The FBI And Twitter To Shut Down Terrorist Accounts

I have no idea what is going on with some politicians that makes them believe that they can somehow "stop" violence cordon off a section of the Internet. Not seem to realize that some people just drive barricade almost half without breaking a sweat. Worse, he seems to realize that useful information on violent groups and individuals can often be extracted from the same communication lines trying to cut.

In this case, it is a bit like trying to put political grandstanding "traffickers" as Craigslist and Backpages, not realizing that the police can use the same service to locate offenders . Instead of looking on the bright side of having a live broadcast of the enemy front (or to realize the futility of their efforts), these legislators chose to throw a lot of effort (or at least, words) following a bad idea.

seven House Republicans in September asked the FBI to demand that Twitter accounts topple U.S. designated terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and al-Shabaab in Somalia al. Letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller was chaired by MP Ted Poe (R-Texas), who said Wednesday that recent events claimed demand.

"Allowing foreign terrorist organizations like Hamas to operate in Twitter allows the enemy," Poe said send a statement to The Hill. "Lack of access to lock arms with the ability to spread freely and engage in their violent propaganda war against Israel.

Now I do not pretend to be smarter than the politicians (although it is certainly welcome to this request for me in the comment threads), but I n 'I like to know how you arrived at the conclusion that the blocking of Twitter accounts somehow translate into fewer acts of violence committed by terrorists. A
could
argue that the failure of a communication line may cause some temporary disruption, but I do believe that Twitter is not only

Hamas has a line of communication.
The closure of these accounts do little more than one) are these politicians feel better to do something, b) bored (and perhaps because) and irritable and violent groups, and c) the communication entities move against terrorism is based on a new channel, may be unreachable. The disadvantage
easily
on the rise, because the "mouth" benefits only seven legislators, giving them a sense of power and self -Justice, which will be comforting for those who actually could use these sources to gather information and help defend.
Then there is this astonishing sentence, which must have been written by Poe at a cost of an IQ point letter:
Twitter The FBI and must sooner or later recognize that social media is a tool for terrorists.

All

form of information dissemination can be considered as a "tool" for terrorists. Twitter permeates with a kind of terrorism which threaten powers is ridiculous. Twitter and resume the FBI complicity in terrorism inaction is even more. This is nothing more than a continuation of the fight against Poe Twitter obsession, which began in September, the first time I wrote a letter to the FBI requesting the demolition of these "terrorists" accounts, citing (of all things), the decision to block Twitter a neo-Nazi in Germany account. (The account can be read anywhere in the world, even in Germany, with minimal effort.)

retried using Poe's own statement on Twitter against it, but the FBI does not this group of legislators all they need to achieve their goals:
"Twitter argues that any account will be requested by the FBI," seven Republican members of Congress wrote to FBI last month. "To date, the FBI has not made a single application for a Twitter account down." And (again), Poe and his co-signatories recent events to push their own agenda.
"Not a single account was closed, unlike YouTube and Facebook," said Poe Beacon is free.

"Twitter is not going to take it upon themselves to close", so that the FBI should take steps, Poe.
The FBI does not believe, however.

FBI Special Agent Jason Pack said Beacon Free "The FBI has received a letter from the member and to respond appropriately."
supposed Pack "responded" to launch the angry letter to the nearest trash can, perhaps running through the first mill. The last letter means that someone at the FBI should empty the trash, but given the results of previous requests Poe, I doubt that any casing Twitter account.
Poe also expressed his disappointment with the Obama administration not to push for more fasteners Twitter.
