Development of new technologies would move to the United Kingdom of fossil fuels two-thirds of the electricity generated in 2050

The UK must build a huge fleet of experimental nuclear reactors currently in the middle of the century, to generate about two-thirds of the country's electricity supply, if you have the scenario of the nuclear force move away from fossil fuels, according to a report of three scientists the highest government advisors.

The report was commissioned in response to a 2011 house of Lords Select Committee report warned the government was in danger of becoming complacent about the pursuit of nuclear energy in the United Kingdom and development (R & D) skills and knowledge.
