For those of you who say that copyright does not inspire that creativity, maybe you have not seen the following video, Rock PandoHouse: Copyright, explained collaboration between PandoDaily and music by David Holmes Explainer:




I usually find such things to be pretty bad. Copyright is not something that can usually be simplified to a song, but it is not really a good job of making the key point is that copyright is a crazy mess and widely abused and mistreated . There are a few minor points may oppose (it is not clear that "It's a Wonderful Life" is actually in the public domain, for example), but overall this is one of the best videos of this type we have seen. Oh yeah, also, Holmes the video itself in the public domain, it is something to do with the content Techdirt well, but very few people. Very well done.


So, yes, the author may have inspired this song ... be in the public domain
